The Blute-Fin Windmill is the only functioning windmill still standing in Paris. It was one of the thirty windmills that once stood atop the hill of Montmartre. Also known as ‘Moulin de la Galette’ it was constructed in 1622. Its name is derived from the French verb ‘bluter’ meaning sifting flour for the separation from the bran. Now part of a private residence, the windmill is not accessible to the public.

From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the historic centre around the 17th-century canal lock will be buzzing with creative energy.
Discover unique products, watch artists at work, and browse through antiques, bric-à-brac, and vintage treasures.
There will of course be music too, and a chance to savour fresh crêpes and crusty baguettes.
Surrounded by inviting terraces, restaurants, ice cream parlors, and the historic village church and St. Peter and Paul Church, you will experience an unforgettable day filled with art, culture, and conviviality. Admission is free for all ages!
