Mill Made’s product range is made from upcycled windmill sailcloth.
Our handmade products are created by specialist craftspeople.
They are ideal for expats wanting authentic and original Dutch gifts for the folks back home.
Each product has been designed and made in South Holland.
Because the materials are hard to source, we only produce each range in very limited editions.

There’s a good story, or three, behind every one of our handsome products.
Including our new range, JMW - the artist’s toolbag, made by Mill Made’s partner Wereldwijven Atelier from upcycled windmill sailcloth sourced direct from De Salamander windmill in Leidschendam.

Not everything we make is brown!
Unlike the cotton-based sailcloth from which our products are usually created, a small range is instead made from upcycled pvc/polyester windmill sailcloth canvas.
They are super fun and pop with colour – lots of colours. We have book protectors, tissue pockets, and very soon, glasses protectors.
The pixelated canvas was part of a promotion some time in the past in Schiedam. Unfortunately, no-one can confirm exactly why or when!
A mystery to be solved. Perhaps you know the answer.
After all the festivities were over, this sailcloth was replaced with a traditional brown one. Of course we like these too, but in a different way.
