Are you feeling a little sad, or just a bit sniffy, then Fleur - the tissue pocket is just for you.

This handmade, limited-edition pocket keeps your tissues safe and clean ready for the moment you need them.

It is made from a sailcloth that hung on one of the windmills from Schiedam, most likely as part of the 2007 celebrations for the Year of the Mills.

After all the festivities were over, this sailcloth was replaced with a traditional brown one.

Only 16 pockets have been made from a single sailcloth, and each one is unique. Choose your pixelated patterns in a range of blue, yellow, black, red, white, and more.

Of course, Fleur is delivered to you with its first tissue packet tucked inside ready to use.

We named this item after the person who suggested that what everyone needed after viewing the Stedelijk Museum Schiedam exhibition The roundness of loss – the art of living on‍ ‍was a tissue from a tissue pocket.

Hand-made in South Holland by the Mill Made team in Dordrecht.

Materials & care instructions

Upcycled pvc/polyester windmill sailcloth canvas
To clean just wipe with a damp cloth. Not suitable for washing machines. Do not tumble dry. Do not dry clean. Do not iron. Do not bleach
There may be minor marks on the canvas, which is not surprising because it is upcycled. But nothing serious. If you are unhappy with your edition, just contact us. See our returns policy on the website.
